About This Episode

“You can be the vivacious, radiant, beautiful queen goddess diva that you were born to be.” – Ivy Allen

Our society has been so used to stereotyping and gender roles. Feminine characteristics are traditionally viewed as undesirable and when we hear the word “femininity ”, we may think of them as emotional, weak, or fragile.

All feminine characteristics have typically been connected with women, while masculine characteristics have been associated with men. Yet in this generation, it is past time for society to recognize that masculinity and femininity are not attributes we connect with gender, but rather, with character. And the reality is men and women are a mix of feminine and masculine energy.  The degree to which one is in varies from person to person without determining their sexuality.

Women have learned to step up, confidently show up, take charge and lead, things that may be considered more masculine roles.  So this week, we are joined by Coach Ivy Allen, empowerment and mindset coach who helps women reinvent and reclaim their lives. We talk about the essence of femininity, how we can learn to embrace it, and how it directly affects our journey as women.

Coach Ivy shares with us some of the common mistakes women make in relationships, how to find a purpose-driven partner, how you can embrace your inner divine goddess, and shifting our purpose to be an ambitious-driven woman.

In this conversation, we discuss:

  • What does “femininity” mean?
  • What does femininity look like for black women?
  • How we can step more into our femininity
  • How our past relationships impact our feminine essence
  • Seeing men on a different perspective
  • Categories of femininity
  • What is the “divine feminine”?
  • How we can reclaim our femininity

About the Guest:

Ivy Allen is a certified Life Coach and graduate of the international coaching school, CoachU, Inc. She is a writer, speaker, life strategist and personal coach, who helps women and men create intimate connections in relationships, expand their sexuality, express their natural sensuality, and date with confidence. About This Episode

“If prayer is you talking to God, then intuition is God talking to you.” – Wayne Dyer

While many of us choose our decisions based on our experience or other people’s advice or opinion, we sometimes have that gut feeling of knowing what’s best for us.

In this week’s episode, we are joined by Andrea Jones a.k.a. Infiniti Jones who shares all about intuition and the important role it plays in our lives. She talks about the difference between ego and intuition, one of the biggest challenges she faced in her life, and how her intuition helped her be the best version of herself.

Being intuitive and listening to our bodies allows us to learn to trust ourselves and be aware of that part of ourselves that was always there but we either didn’t recognize or unintentionally shut down due to distractions or lack of awareness. By finding that balance, tuning into our bodies through meditation, and connecting with ourselves, we can live a more opulent life.

Listen to Episode 83 to be motivated by Andrea’s story as you let your intuition guide you in life.

In this conversation, we discuss:

  • The importance of intuition
  • The difference between intuition and ego
  • How trusting your intuition can guide in making major life decisions
  • External forces that cause you stop you from trusting yourself
  • Learning to trust your body
  • Tuning into God’s divine power
  • The philosophy of giving and receiving

About This Episode

“Good marketers realize that marketing is an investment.” – Cassandra Alexis

It is crucial to have a long-term plan for how you’ll spread the word about your business, and the key to that is to have a specific spending plan (also known as a budget) for putting that plan into action.

This is where many entrepreneurs make mistakes: not having a clear-cut marketing spending plan, not laying out important factors to consider, and not setting marketing goals to accomplish.

Sometimes when the finances are tight, the marketing budget is the first at the cutting board – or sometimes even scratched altogether. But it shouldn’t be. Failing to market and advertise your business properly can hugely impact your business and its potential to thrive. If you want to stay competitive and optimize your money, your marketing spending plan must cover all areas of planning, pricing, and of course, marketing your service.

You may have questions like: How much should my marketing spending plan be? What activities should go into my marketing spending plan? How do I track the money that I spent on my marketing strategy?

No need to worry because in this week’s episode, I’ll be giving you insights to help you figure out your marketing spending plan, shift your mindset, and work with the money that you need to allocate to go towards your marketing spending plan. Listen to learn more!

In this conversation, we discuss:

  • What is a marketing spending plan?
  • Shifting your mindset on spending your money
  • Reasons why you need a marketing spending plan
  • What marketing activities are covered by your marketing spending plan
  • Factors that impact the size of your marketing spending plan
